Danny Bonaduce is the son of veteran TV writer/producer
Joseph Bonaduce. Danny Bonaduce originally gained fame in the
television series The Partridge Family. Bonaduce played the
wisecracking Danny Partridge, who was a constant bane of the
Family's manager, played by Dave Madden.
Danny Bonaduce married Setsuko Hattori in 1985 and divorced her in 1988. In 1990, Danny Bonaduce met his second wife, Gretchen on a blind date. They married that same day (Danny claims he only married her so he could sleep with her). They have two children together, Countess Isabella Michaela Bonaduce (born 23-Nov-1994) and Count Dante Jean Michel Bonaduce (born 14-Feb-2001)
As an adult, Danny Bonaduce has had a successful career as a radio announcer and co-host of The Other Half with Mario Lopez, Dick Clark, and Dorian Gregory in season 2, a daytime talk show positioned as a complementary show to The View. Danny Bonaduce was very successful at WLUP in Chicago. Later, Bonaduce hosted weekday mornings in Detroit at WKQI then flying to Chicago for afternoons at WLUP. Then in Los Angeles co-hosting the morning drive-time show on Star 98.7 FM (KYSR) with Jamie White. Danny Bonaduce is a frequent guest on the Loveline radio program.
In 2001 Danny Bonaduce released his autobiography, Random Acts of Badness.
Danny filed a lawsuit against Jamie White on September 28, 2005 for allegedly slandering him on air while he was in a rehab center called Milestones Ranch. Danny Bonaduce claims she lied about him showing up to work under the influence of drugs. Danny claims he was never under the influence of drugs while at work. The outcome is still pending.
Starred in Breaking Bonaduce, a 2005 reality television show on VH1, and has appeared on Howard Stern's Howard 100. Since August 2006, Danny Bonaduce has been hosting a new tabloid-themed game show named Starface, which airs on GSN.
Danny Bonaduce also made headlines for having a boxing match
with 70's teen idol Donny Osmond.
