Patricia Arquette (born on April 8, 1968 in Chicago, Illinois) is an Emmy Award-winning and a Golden Globe Award nominated American actress.

Patricia Arquette is of distant French Muslim descent. Patricia is the daughter of the late actor Lewis Arquette, granddaughter of the late comic Cliff Arquette, and sister to the actors Rosanna, Alexis, Richmond and David Arquette. Patricia Arquette's also the sister-in-law of Courteney Cox Arquette, who is married to her brother David.

At the age of eighteen Patricia Arquette got her start in showbiz in 1986's Pretty Smart. A year later, Patricia Arquette gained attention for her starring role in A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors, playing Kristen Parker, which is often considered the best sequel of the Nightmare series. In 1989. Soon after, Arquette's career took off, and she has since appeared in such critically acclaimed movies as True Romance, Beyond Rangoon, Ethan Frome, Lost Highway, and Flirting with Disaster.

Patricia Arquette won a CableACE Award in 1991 for her portrayal of a deaf epileptic in Wildflower. Patricia Arquette won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in 2005 for her role as the psychic Allison DuBois on NBC's Medium.

Patricia in the series Medium, for which she won an Emmy.In April 1995, Arquette married her Bringing Out the Dead-costar Nicolas Cage. They separated after nine months, but acted as a couple in public until Cage filed for divorce in February 2000. The divorce petition was withdrawn, but Patricia filed again in November 2000.

Patricia Arquette and actor Thomas Jane became engaged in 2002 and married in June 2006 at the Palazzo Contarini in Venice, Italy. They have a daughter, Harlow Olivia Calliope, born on February 20, 2003. Patricia also has a son, Enzo (b. 1989), from her previous relationship with musician Paul Rossi.

In 1997, after Patricia Arquette's mother died of breast cancer, she took the lead in the fight against the disease. Patricia Arquette's run in the annual Race for the Cure, and in 1999 was the Lee National Denim Day spokesperson which raises millions of dollars for breast cancer research and education.
